Apple iPhone 4 Selling in SG Now

Well, you know what they say, "Once you gone Mac, you never go back". How true this phrase can be when tons of Apple fans lining up for the new hit - Apple iPhone 4. One can fetch a price of around $500 for a 16GB and as high as more than a thousand.

The highly anticipated iPhone 4 is being launched on Thursday midnight and eager Apple fans are already in line to be among the firsts to get their hands on one.

Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to have the smartphone.

It's also the first time all three telcos in Singapore are launching the iPhone at the same time.

At Paragon shopping, where M1's flagship store is located, more than 200 people were already in line even before 9pm.

The first person in the queue said he arrived at 6.20pm.

SingTel is launching the iPhone 4 at a special event at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, while StarHub is having its launch at Plaza Singapura. - CNA /ls
